What is an Ultrasonic Cleaner?

Ultrasonic Cleaning Solutions
Like I mentioned above, water can be used as a cleaning solution, however, it is not normally effective. The proper cleaning solution for an ultrasonic cleaner contains ingredients that are designed to improve the efficiency of the ultrasonic cleaning.
The solution used usually contains a wetting agent to reduce surface tension which in turn increases cavitation levels which is what you need to clean properly.
In addition to wetting agents, solutions can contain detergents and other components that have a large influence on the cleaning process.
The composition of the cleaning solution is based on the item that is being cleaned. The solution is typically used warm (122-149 degrees Fahrenheit) but for some medical applications, the temperature is 113 degrees Fahrenheit. This prevents coagulation.
